Welcome to the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” Dubrovnik! Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel to check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure in this enchanting city, which served as the setting for King’s Landing in “Game of Thrones.”

Celebrate your first night in Croatia with a traditional Croatian meal. One of the most well-known dishes is peka, or meat and potatoes cooked in a bell-like dome under hot coals.

Day 02 :
Dubrovnik

After breakfast, enjoy a private walking tour of Old Town Dubrovnik. With the help of a local guide, you’ll see the historic highlights that make up Old Town, from Rector’s Palace to the Franciscan Monastery.

After your tour, you could walk along the medieval fortified walls (admission included). Spend a couple hours strolling the 1.25-mile long walls as you admire stunning views of the sparkling Adriatic Sea, Old Town, and Lovrijenac Fort.

See the highlights of Old Town Dubrovnik on a morning walking tour! Meet your local guide at Pile Gate in front of Old Town, the natural starting point to any Dubrovnik visit. Begin at Rector’s Palace, built in the 15th century as the home of Dubrovnik’s elected rector, then see Bell Tower Clock and Orlando’s Column, a symbol of the city’s freedom.

Continue to Sponza Palace, a splendid 16th-century palace that was a customs house, a mint, a state treasury, and a bank. You’ll also enjoy views of the Dominican Monastery and the famous Franciscan Monastery with its pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world dating back to 1371.

Day 03 :
Dubrovnik

Today, treat yourself to unforgettable views of Dubrovnik. From the Old Town, take the 4-minute cable car up to Mt Srđ. At the top, you will be treated to spectacular views of Old Town, the sparkling Adriatic sea, and several islands.

Later, consider heading to one of Dubrovnik’s beaches for some rest and relaxation. Banje, Sveti Jakov, and Šulići are all popular beaches in the city from which you can enjoy the splendor of the Dalmatian Coast.

Day 04 :
Dubrovnik

Today, why not return to the city walls and explore Fort Lovrijenac? Game of Thrones fans will recognize this fort as the Red Keep in King’s Landing, the capital of the Seven Kingdoms.

Another popular filming location of the popular HBO series is the Trsteno Arboretum, located 20 minutes outside of Dubrovnik and one of the oldest arboretums in the world. Walk along the garden paths where Olena Tyrell and Varys plotted against Peter Baelish!

Day 05 :
Dubrovnik

Today, consider taking a 10-minute ferry (extra cost) from Dubrovnik’s Old Harbor to the forested island of Lokrum. Explore the beautiful grounds of the botanical garden, then check out the Benedictine monastery. Lokrum is also a great place for swimming!

In the evening, return to Old Town, find a cafe, and celebrate your last night in Dubrovnik with a glass of Croatian wine.

Your Dubrovnik city break ends today. At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
