The journey begins in Warsaw and weaves through cities, concentration camps, and locations significant to World War II, finishing in Munich. Enjoy stays in Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Dresden, Berlin, Weimar, Nuremberg, and Munich.

Over 13 days, you will walk through some of the most infamous concentration camps used during the war, including Auschwitz and Birkenau. Near Weimar, you will visit one of the largest concentration camps operating during World War II, Buchenwald. Additionally, you will see the site of the former Dachau concentration camp, which Heinrich Himmler described as “the first concentration camp for political prisoners.”

When you reach Krakow, you will explore the Remuh Synagogue, which remains one of two active synagogues in the city, and the Oskar Schindler Factory. You’ll have the chance to see the Memorium Nuremberg Trials and Courtroom 600 (subject to availability) where Nazi leaders had to answer for their crimes in front of an International Military Tribunal. The tour will also bring you to the Documentation Center and Zeppelin Field, known as the Nazi party rally grounds, where Adolf Hitler delivered pernicious anti-semitic speeches to thousands of onlookers.

You will visit cities ravaged by bombing during the war and see restorations that have been made; a testament to the resilience of places such as Dresden and Berlin. Once you’ve reached Berlin, you will also visit the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, one of Berlin’s most famous landmarks. Finally, in Munich, you will have a chance to join an optional excursion to Berchtesgaden and Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest before a farewell dinner with your travel group.
